Disclaimer – Herbers Lifestyle
Welcome to Herbers Lifestyle.
We take great care in curating our collection and providing accurate information on our website. Our aim is to present our products as clearly, honestly and accurately as possible.
Despite our best efforts, occasional errors or differences may occur. Below, we explain how we handle these situations.
Product Information & Images
We do our very best to photograph and describe our products as accurately and naturally as possible.
Please note that colours, textures and materials may differ slightly from the images displayed on our website. This can be due to lighting conditions, photography and individual screen settings.
Our product photographs are intended to give you the most realistic impression possible of each item.
Dimensions & Measurements
We make every effort to provide accurate measurements for our products.
Slight variations in dimensions may occur with handmade, antique and authentic items. Many of these products are not machine-made and have their own individual character.
Unless otherwise stated, all measurements are approximate.
If you require a particular size or if exact dimensions are important for your interior, please feel free to contact us before placing your order. We will be happy to measure the item again for you.
Naturally, your statutory consumer rights remain fully applicable in the event of incorrect product information.
Antique, Vintage & Handmade Products
A large part of our collection consists of special pieces with their own history and individual character.
These include old wooden furniture, authentic antique jars, handmade home accessories and products crafted from natural materials.
It is often the little imperfections that make these pieces so special.
Signs of age and use, small cracks, colour variations, uneven surfaces, previous repairs, weathered finishes and differences in texture or patina may all be part of an item's authentic character.
These characteristics are not necessarily defects. Instead, they may reflect the age, origin and materials of the product.
We aim to describe these features as clearly as possible and, where appropriate, show them in our product photographs.
Where such characteristics are consistent with the product description and the condition that can reasonably be expected, they do not in themselves constitute a defect.
Natural Materials
Many of our products are made from natural materials such as wood, linen, stone, terracotta, iron and glass.
These materials may change over time due to temperature, humidity, exposure to light and everyday use.
Wood, for example, may naturally expand or contract, linen may show variations in its weave, and handmade glass may contain small air bubbles or irregularities.
Such material-specific characteristics contribute to the unique appearance of our collection.
We recommend that customers take the natural properties and appropriate care of these materials into account.
Prices & Obvious Errors
We make every effort to ensure that all prices, product descriptions, dimensions and stock information are accurate and up to date.
Nevertheless, unintentional typing errors, pricing errors, data entry mistakes or technical issues may occasionally occur.
In the event of an obvious error, where an average consumer could reasonably recognise that a mistake has been made, the information concerned does not automatically create an enforceable entitlement.
Whether a legally binding agreement has been formed, and which rights arise from it, will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
Herbers Lifestyle reserves the right to update prices, images, product information and availability for future orders.
Existing agreements and statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Stock & Availability
Our collection includes unique pieces, antique finds and products that are available only in limited quantities.
Although we carefully maintain our stock information, an item may occasionally become unavailable unexpectedly.
Should this happen, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss a suitable solution together.
