Unique hand-woven textile piece from the tribal regions of Afghanistan or Northern India.
This unique ribbon is crafted from handspun wool, dyed with natural dyes in deep shades of red, brown, black, and cream. The geometric motifs and hand-knotted tassels reflect the craftsmanship and symbolism of the nomadic tribes of this region.

Originally, these ribbons served as decorations for horses, saddles, or tent openings—both decorative and protective. Over the years, the fabric has weathered beautifully, with subtle signs of wear that testify to its age and authenticity. Every detail, from the weathered tassels to the old label with numbering, tells its own story.
